Bonjour ladies!

Your voices are guiding the future of HLN.
The Haitian Ladies Network has always been about what’s possible when women of Haitian descent come together — across cities, sectors, and generations. From a brunch to a network, from sister bonds to impactful programming, HLN has grown into a vibrant, global community that uplifts, informs, connects, and inspires.

This next chapter is one of expansion, intention, and even deeper connection — powered by you.

Your Voices Have Always Guided Us
At our 2024 Haitian Ladies Weekend and through the post-conference survey, you shared what matters most: more consistent engagement, deeper connection, more opportunities to make an impact, and more spaces to gather, heal, learn, and lead. We brought that collective wisdom into our recent board of directors retreat, and together we made key decisions to shape what’s next for HLN and for all of us.

A Powerful Reunion Ahead
We are excited to share that the next Igniting Our Power Haitian Ladies Weekend will take place in 2026. It will be a joyful return and a bold evolution, reimagined with even more intention, global reach, and cultural celebrations. We will also honor a beautiful milestone: 20 years of Haitian women brunching — a meaningful part in HLN’s story. This will be a reunion like no other. Stay tuned.

What We’re Building — Together — in 2025
This year is about strengthening our organization with intention — building for long-term financial sustainability, deepening our community impact, and anchoring HLN in a shifting landscape where our voices and vision are needed more than ever. Guided by purpose, we’re moving boldly forward:
● Launching a new strategic plan to guide our long-term vision and ensure the longevity of our movement
● Hiring key team members to expand our capacity, outreach, and impact
● Offering year-round programming — virtual and in-person — aligned with our pillars to inform, connect, heal, equip, and inspire Haitian women across the diaspora
● Building strategic partnerships and securing sustainable investment to grow our community and support our fundraising efforts

Our Pillars of Growth and Purpose
At the heart of HLN’s vision for the future are five core pillars:
● Bridging Haiti & Its Diaspora – Strengthening connections between Haitians at home and around the globe
● Culture & Heritage – Honoring and preserving Haitian traditions, history, and storytelling
● Wellness & Healing – Creating space to nurture mind, body, and spirit
● Financial Well-Being – Building pathways to wealth, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment
● Voice & Influence – Elevating Haitian women’s leadership and civic engagement

Let’s Build This, Together
This moment belongs to all of us — and there are so many ways to be part of it:
● Join us — virtually and in person — for exciting programming that reflects the needs, dreams, and priorities of our HLN sisterhood.
● Stay engaged and share your ideas
● Spread the word and invite others into the HLN movement
● Support HLN’s evolution with a one-time or monthly donation
